You'll learn about the many different types of equity investors that are across the UK and what they are looking for when investing in early stage businesses.

We will teach you how to craft a concise, effective elevator pitch and will show you how to put together and deliver a winning pitch presentation. You'll learn the core principles behind creating the best investor deck which is gauranteed to engage your audience.


You receive your own tried and tested templates for you to keep, including business plan, executive summary and pitch deck templates. Plus see real life samples of winning decks, including AirBnB's deck for their first $500k!

The Process

As well as the key aspects of an investment round like due diligence and term sheets, you'll also learn how to actively manage the funding campaign as a whole, including how to keep investors engaged throughout, no matter how protracted the raise becomes.

Ian Tracey - KTN

Ian is Head of Access to Funding & Finance at the Knowledge Transfer Network. In this role he helps companies to identify the most suitable form of funding; grants, investment, lending etc. to allow them to grow.
